Xen Tang is the second in line to the throne and his entire life has been locked in a battle of succession to depose the Crown prince and claim the Dragon throne one day. An extremely talented and egotistical prince, Xen Tang was a prodigy excelling in both the art of statecraft and magic. Aside from the natural affinity to the lore of Heavens that all Celestial dragons posses, he was also exceptionally adapted in the school of Death. Holding the same air of arrogance that many dragon nobles shared in their superiority to their human subjects, Xen Tang has a special interest in automaton technology with the opinion that these mindless constructs would make more effective tools than mere humans. He became the leader of the Shugengan mage council due to his magical mastery and slowly build up his base of operation in Southern Cathay through sophisticated trade network, amassing vast wealth to facilitate his political activities and secret construction of his private automaton army.
